Abstract : With different translations for Guilin landscape
presented and dissected, the author explains the characteristics
and the aim and end of tourist-advertising terms, and advocates
“artistic beauty” for the effect of such translation by way of the
three proposals of “conciseness, rhyme and rhythm schemes”,
which is supposed to suit a wider category.
